Why Engagement Rings Are Actually a Scam
"Let me see your ring!" is probably one of the first things said when a woman announces that she has recently become engaged. While the ring is definitely one of the most exciting parts about getting engaged, most people will be shocked to hear that not only is the tradition of engagement rings fairly new (when speaking historically) they are also one giant scam.
Not that I am against them, or believe people should not be partaking in the tradition of them, I just wanted to share with you guys this funny video that explains the history to why we have them, and why they aren't exactly worth what we think they are.
